Syysillan Pannukakkurulla (!)

This little recipe paper here, a copy of the original note I got from Marke, a finnish girl, after a potluck in Debrecen Hungary in 1993, has been unfolded many times since and has always been a hit with friends who love mushrooms and garlic…Funny thing is that though a Finnish person gave it to me in Hungary, it is an Italian recipe, at least according to its name. …Click on the image to enlarge the recipe.

I also adapted it for younger or more sensitive palates by replacing the mushrooms, garlic and sour cream with ham and cheese.BTW, “tejfol” is Hungarian for sour cream).
